At Oreste Berta S.A., we began building competition cars during the mid-sixties. In those years, the techniques, the available technology and the components went through numerous changes. Craftmanship gave way to engineering, and intuition, in turn, to a more scientific approach.


Pushed forward by a competitive spirit and the growing professionalism within motor sport, the new procedures opened up new paths in what refers to research, experimentation, and evolution in the pace-setting automobile manufacturing industry.


We went through those paths by means of our initial outings in local and international motor car races, and we thoroughly learnt about engines, chassis, aerodynamics, suspension and brake systems, tyres, bodywork and all that is inherent to a competition car in constant development.


Throughout more than 40 years, with plenty of effort, we increased our resources and know-how in a wide variety of disciplines, and this led us to becoming one of the leading companies at international level, fully dedicated to top-line engineering.


Research, design, development, simulation, testing, and manufacturing occupy most of our work program. We dedicate our time to integral projects such as the building of competition cars and engines, we participate in projects done to scale, giving assessment to car, aircraft and motorcycle manufacturers. We test fuels, lubricants, tyres, electronic components, and constantly supply parts and special engineering services for companies and individuals.


Because the idea is to keep progressing, we continue to develop, working and learning. With different tools but with the same philosophy as from the beginning, always seeking new paths to explore.
